This submission to MEPC 63 by the Clean Shipping Coalition estimates the potential for GHG emissions reductions related to improvements in Hull and Propeller Performance to be between 7 and 10% across the world fleet (would account for around half of IMO's GHG emissions reduction target for 2020) and calls for the MEPC's involvement in seeing to the establishment of a transparent and reliable standard for measuring Hull and Propeller Performance.
